ATEMI RYU JUJITSU

The practitioner of this devastating and versatile art uses his opponents momentum and strength against the would be attacker. As the attacker pushes the Jujitsu practitioner will pull, and when pulled he will push. The actual self defense techniques utilize this philosophy through a series of joint locks, throws, strikes, blocks and chokes.

AIKIDO

Aikido is a martial art, but places great emphasis on motion and the dynamics of movement. It's techniques are derived from Jujitsu and other techniques derived from Kenjutsu. Aikido focuses not on punching or kicking opponents. The Aikido practitioner uses his/her attacker's energy against them. Their energy generates throws and immobilizations. At it's highest levels, it is an effective discipline for the development, integration, and utiliziation of all of one's powers - mental as well as physical. Aikido not only offers spiritual development, but also provides healthy and fun exercise and teaches proper etiquette and behavior.

WOMEN’S SELF DEFENSE COURSE

Do you belong to a book club, mommy club or any other group ? We offer Self Defense for women! A six week course on self defense for women in a group setting. The course's objective is to give you effective tools that will be invaluable in any type of conflict. Your instruction will include practical answers to common attacks and to help prepare you for the unexpected.

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS AND BOXING CLASSES

Our mixed martial arts program is a combination of the arts that we teach at this school. We teach realistic techniques that work both in sport and on the street. In MMA we combine our stand up knowledge with our grappling knowledge and the transition in between. If you are looking for an excellent cardio work out then our MMA classes are for you! Our Boxing classes covers the technical aspects of boxing. We teach you the proper way to execute boxing techniques. This is not a cardio Kickboxing class. But it is very demanding on the mind and body.

Our workouts are a great way to get in shape...The great thing about our classes is they are like an exercise program with a bonus! You learn to defend yourself while you get in shape. Also, unlike some aerobics classes, you never feel out of place because everyone works at their own individual pace.
